Residencies

Dedicated studio space, access to equipment, a library and mentoring for up to six months.

We’re offering affordable studio space on a short-term basis. This would suit an artist working on a project with a set timeframe, visiting London for a few months, or a recent graduate exploring possibilities without a long-term commitment. Let us know how you would use this opportunity and we will check availability.

Current Artist-in-Residence - Ella Ogan

Ella Ogan is a visual artist and image maker from South London, currently based between London and Berlin. Her work is an exploration of the industrial and the organic through naïve forms, repeating symbols and soft structures. Rooted in tactile processes and folk imagery, her work joins the familiar with the unsettling.

Ella will be in residence until the end of August, after which she plans to resume her creative practice in Germany.

Upcoming Artist-in-Residence - Muna Ko

Muna Ko’s work is rooted in joy, faith and healing. What began as a personal creative practice has grown into a way of expressing her Christian faith and sharing moments of peace, beauty and reflection inspired by her relationship with God.

Muna works in acrylic. While her paintings are often considered figurative, she uses a process called 'peaceful submissions,' influencing the development of pieces that can be abstract, figurative or more broadly contemporary in how they’re rendered.

Muna has exhibited in group shows at The Waiting Room at Peckham Rye Station, UCL and the Africa Art Centre, and has appeared on Sky Portrait Artist of the Year. Most recently, she has completed a mural in Lima, Peru.

Muna’s current focus is The Sunflower Project, a faith-led creative journey - a combination of fine art, storytelling and charity, this project will culminate in a fundraising exhibition (and her first solo show) in partnership with The Leprosy Mission. Her residency starts in August.
